SPANX Week 4

Well this is a little late, but the weekend was a bit hectic. I can’t believe week 4 has come and gone already and I am (now) in week 5 — half way. This week we officially started in our new office. The week consisted of a lot of unpacking and getting organized, which isn’t always fun, but it was interesting to see it all unfold. I, with two other interns, helped another intern unpack her closet and log everything into a system. As much work as it was, the four of us had so much fun together and really got to know each other. I didn’t really do much PR stuff, aside from sending a few items for red carpet events (which is so fun!), but it was nice to actually interact with the other interns! Below is what I wore each day this week! Come back next week to find out about week 5!

SPANX Week 3

This week was probably the most hectic week. My boss was out of town for most of it, and the rest of the week was spent packing. We have officially moved into our new office, and it is INCREDIBLE! It is the most beautiful and fun office space I have ever seen, and I am so excited for Monday to be here to officially start working in it! I didn’t really do much else this week other than pack, but that’s part of being an intern! I am excited for the new office, getting settled, and getting new projects to work on! Below is what I wore each day this week! Come back next week to find out about week 4!

SPANX Week 2

I can’t believe week 2 at SPANX has already come and gone. This week was a bit slower than last, but I sort of figured that, with the big move coming up in just 1 week! Everything at the office is crazy, and it’s starting to look more empty with everything moving over. I started the week working on spreadsheets and primarily did that the rest of the week. As boring as spreadsheets sound, I actually really enjoyed it… probably because it wasn’t a spreadsheet involving math! The interns all ended the week with breakfast with Jan Singer, SPANX’s CEO. She has the most fascinating background, and I really enjoyed listening to her and all her advice! All in all, it was another amazing week, and I feel as though this is starting to become a trend! Below is what I wore each day this week! Come back next week to find out about week 3!

This past Sunday it was so nice out, that Jenny and I decided to go to brunch in the Meatpacking District. Apparently we weren’t the only ones who thought this, as it seemed all of Chelsea was crammed into Pastis Sunday mid-morning. Luckily, we got there just in time to snag the last 2 person table. Since it was so nice out, we decided to take a stroll down the High Line after to spend some time outside. I love this crown sweater, I bought it in London (how perfect!)… it just warm enough, but not too warm. And since I was in such a “springy” mood, I decided to break out my lace printed jeans. They’re so cute and comfy and I just absolutely love them. The southern girl in me desperately wanted to break out my sundress, but I decided against it and I ended up loving how this outfit turned out. It’s such a comfy, cozy outfit, but ultimately looks cute all together!
