Today Lizzy and I decided to be “adventurous” and go to Hoboken, New Jersey. We took the ferry there, which was super easy and we were able to get an incredible view of the city. Once we got to Hoboken, we found the main street (Washington St.) and started walking. There were so many cute shops and restaurants and although we didn’t enjoy all the restaurants, we did enjoy all the shopping. There were so many cute boutiques, which are hard to find in Manhattan. We enjoyed a nice lunch outside at Elysian Cafe and then started our shopping. We made our way all the way down Washington Street and ended at Carlo’s Bakery from Cake Boss. While there weren’t many tourists, as Lizzy had expected, we did end up running into them filming Cake Boss. It was cool to see it being filmed, but the cannolis were even better. We ended our time n Hoboken eating our cannolis in the park. Lizzy and I really enjoyed our time in Hoboken and will definitely visit again soon!
Today is my official last day at Ferragamo… I can’t believe it’s actually here. It’s a bittersweet day, and I am not sure how to feel about it. Last time my internship with them was “over,” I was able to say ‘see you in a month,’ since I knew I was returning in the spring. However, I now am not able to say that… I am not returning to Ferragamo any time soon, and it’s an odd feeling. I have grown so close to my bosses, and I really feel as though I am a member of the team. As sad as I am to see it come to a close, I am so incredibly thankful for the amazing experience I have had at Ferragamo. To Shannon, Alex, and Trisha – thank you. I honestly cannot say it enough. You have all taught me so much, not only about PR, but also about myself. You are all amazing and have made my first internship experience everything I could have expected and more. While I am sad to see it come to an end, I cannot wait to see what is in store for me in the future!
